About

  • We are hummbly. Our name is inspired by the wonderful little creatures: hummingbirds. Such a small bird, exploring and fulfilling the task of pollinating. Feeding, growing, taking care of their little ones but also contributing to their surroundings. Similarly, hummbly seeks to make a small contribution, joining the conversation on topics such as: Faith and growth in family settings; sharing our perspectives of living as foreigners in Taiwan; Worldschooling and Education, among other topics.

We're not after likes on social media, though we do use those platforms to help us share the content we create.

We're not chasing follower counts either, but we truly hope our content can reach and support more people families.

If our blog has been helpful to you, we’d be so grateful if you share it with your friends!

  • Our mission is to inspire and encourage one another in our walk of faith and growth as individuals, families, and communities.

We believe that continuous growth is for everyone: children, parents, leaders, and beyond. Therefore, we seek to share resources to build each other up with humility and grace.

  • Our vision is to see a world where communities grow together, embracing their God-given purpose and calling. We aspire to contribute to a movement of lifelong learners who live with intention, serve with love, and walk boldly in faith: impacting lives across generations and cultures.

  • We openly declare our Christian faith, but this does not mean we impose our beliefs on others. We respect everyone, prioritizing dialogue, freedom of conscience, and always seeking to build bridges through love and mutual understanding.

We believe in God the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth.

We believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the universal Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting.
