Family & Faith: Books recommendations


Whether you are pregnant, waiting for adoption, preparing to foster, already a parent but needing some perspective or resources... here are some books' recommendations.


When we approach parenting, the focus it's often on the physical aspect of things, such as preparing a place in your home, buying what you need, work out routines and doctor visits, etc. But it's also important to make sure our spiritual and emotional preparedness is on our radar.





Bible

Where to start?


Some suggestions: Psalms for prayer and worship; the Gospels (John, Matthew, Mark, Luke) to center our parenting in the life and teachings of Jesus; Proverbs for practical wisdom useful in daily life and parenting; Ephesians to remind us how to live day by day in Christ and as a family; and James to strengthen our faith and challenge us to put our faith into action.
